This drawing explores the extractive relationship between settlement and land. Each drawn element was created separately and later layered on top of one another to create visual and formal relationships between text and image.

The phrase “To destroy this house... death. An early death,” is a quote from one of the residents of Wadi el-Hummus who was violently evicted from his house by Israeli Occupation Forces in July 2019.
